I am Holly Hancock, Instructional Literary Specialist for HEB ISD. I received my Bachelor's of Science Degree from Texas A&M University in Elementary Education with a minor in English. I later received my Master's degree in Library Science from Texas Woman's University.
I have served in the public school system for 24 years. I have served at the Middle School and Elementary level. I presently serve North Euless Elementary.
It is my goal to serve children in their pursuit to achieve high academic standards through the use of literature. The library serves as a central point of learning as I continue to strive to provide students with materials and resources which will help them achieve excellence in their learning.
My hobbies and interests include reading, watching sports, cooking, traveling and spending time with my family.
“Libraries allow children to ask questions about the world and find the answers. And the wonderful thing is that once a child learns to use a library, the doors to learning are always open.”
